ONGOING PROCESS Saturday night I began brainstorming and creating sketch models of a final folded model. I wanted to try to use a single piece of card and fold it in a way to create a single entire shape resembling my room. Initial sketch model made up of many cut out pieces to plan out shape, size and lighting features Inside of first initial model made from 120gsm card Cutting out the final model layout before beginning folding and cutting windows FINAL SCALED, FOLDED MODEL Black 200 gsm paper was used to not allow any light to pass through the walls and ceiling. This model was an upgraded version of my room consisting of ranges of different spaces to allow natural light to come through, extra spaces and extra windows. Following the sketch models made I utilised folding techniques are tried to limit myself with 2-3 single pieces of paper which are folded to create a single room (as 1 piece was not enough).
