WK4: Analogue and Digital Drawing


INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS:

Editing my own drawing of site from Week 1:

  • Blind contour drawing
  • Selection lasso tool used to select specific parts of the drawing and Adjusting the colour using the invert colours tool.
  • Using scanning tools to clearly scan my drawings.
  • Using fill tool to fill in selected areas.

Editing Google Maps, Top View of Site & Submitted Site Map:
  • Screenshot edited using Photoshop black and white adjustments and filter galleries (CutOut).
  • Site Map colour was chosen as it shows lots of contrast in colours bringing the consumer's eye to it.
  • Elipses selection tool and fill tool used to make circle shaped images.Editing Image of 'bench' located on site:

  • This photo was taken in the group task in Week 2 (Photo of specific words located on-site)
  • Using different Photoshop elements to change colours, textures, exposures, etc.
  • Transparent background
Editing Image of 'ornament' located on site:
  • This photo was taken in the group task in Week 2 (Photo of specific words located on-site)
  • Using different Photoshop elements to change colours, textures, exposures, etc.
  • Transparent background
  • Using different fill colours to have a stylistic look (inspired by the 'archigram' style)


FINAL GROUP SUBMISSION:
  • A combination of:
    • Photos of site: grutters, table tennis table, signs, map, bench
    • Edited photos: greyscale photos of sites, bench, Tower 13 sign with photo as fill
    • Scanned drawings: table tennis table, blind contour drawings
    • Infographics: Simple column graph
    • Site map: seating placing of site, maps, trees
    • Pedestrian lines: Large orange line to join everything together.
    • Colours: Greens, blues and purples due to the abundance of green area and plants.
